HOLY CRAP! The last parts I needed for the install came today so I went ahead and installed everything. Apart from an issue with the meter I borrowed from work, just adjusted everything by ear for now, this thing rocks! Before with just the Aquatic H/U, I ran the volume anywhere from 12 to 20. Now 10 to 12 will make your ears bleed. Big plus was that FM reception doesn't seem to be affected.

 

 

WOW!! It's been a while since I've had time to catch up with this thread. Thank you everyone for adding and sharing your knowledge. I'll definitely refer back to this when tuning my amp settings.

 

Thanks Gannicus. I'll check into this amp as well. I'm liking the fact that it will set right in the amp tray with velcro.

I am in the same boat with my 15, ordered the Kappas and thought I would just run them for a while, guess not :-)
thanks for the info on the amp & bt355 line leveler.

Is there anything else I would need to order to make a smooth install?
