Default Building up a stripped down tour pak

Hey all, I acquired a tourpak offa 14 ultra limited last year and working on the sound part to go with my 17 RGS. I have all of the hardware, but none of the speaker boxes/wiring yet. Through Harley, I have a couple options including the basic speaker boxes or rebuilding the ultra setup with the comm stuff. I don't need the comm stuff...but just wondering if there are any other options out there you all might recommend?

I recommend getting your speaker boxes from Junes Upholstery that house 6.5 speakers.

So he doesn't have any made for the rushmore tourpaks.

I keep coming across these speakers...p/n 77149-98

Can anyone say whether they will work with a 14+ tourpak?

June's DOES NOT make any 14+ tourpack pods and per him DOES NOT intend to make them.
The only ones I've found that are bigger than original and do well are the SP-1R. They also have a 3" mounting depth. http://www.eglidegoodies.com/id88.html

Expect to pay about $300.00 for them shipped and they are on back order for a couple more weeks. Sturgis wiped all of them out.

I like my E-Glide Goodies tour pak pods. I've had Focal KRC and Arc Moto 602s back there. Right now they are just dummy speaker pods though, in my setup.

It would probably be better to just get pods, that fit, and then put your own speakers in them. I am sure those pods have the POS boom speakers in them!

Doesn't look like those pods house 6.5 speakers and they are awful proud of those pods as well. I'd stay away from the eBay stuff and go with Tesnevo's suggestion.
