Default Would l be better off...

Running my DDAW6.5's and BT30's off their own channels or keeping the amp bridged with them paralled? Amp is a DD Audio D4.

As it is now, the tweeters are screaming and l'd like to tone them down. Wouldn't be as much power going to the speakers but it would give me better tunability.

It's something l've thought of trying and since l'm in Minnesota and our Winter is right around the corner, it would be a great time to experiment.

Maybe another option is to change the crossovers and use one that lets you attenuate the tweeters a bit?

Bridged.
Run the tweet crossover, tweet, and AW on one bridged channel and the other side on the other channel.

Just want to make sure I'm clear on this. Ur running 90 watts to 4 different components or ur setup, 2 AWs and 2 ATs?
If you wire that shix using a bridged with a parallel wiring strategy and get the 180w watts that the AWs actually want and need.

Keep in mind that this is a parallel wiring strategy and not a parallel wiring load.

90 watts to these is damn near criminal. Donr wait till winter bro, get that shix fixxed asap. U tweets are not to loud, it just that ur AWs are half dead.

Alex, that is another good suggestion. I've had to do that with mine using the AWs and BT30s. When I crank up the volume up to wake up the AWs, BT30s were a little overpowering. Lowering the treble 2 or 3 clicks from center helped quite a bit.

I have turned the treble down on the radio which does help.

I'm just running a pair of the AW6.5's and BT30 tweeters off the bridged D4 amp. No other speakers on the bike....yet. Going to be adding speakers in the lower fairings though.

I did the same with AW & BT.....poor little horns were killing me. Just too much. Left the stage in tact. Added lids with 6x9's and another D4..... completely different animal.
