Hey folks,
I'm doing an upgrade to my system on my 04 ultra and i found some of these speakers powerbass 4XL-65-92 and one pair Boston acoustic 6.5LF in an old storage cabinet.
anyone got opinions on sound quality and durability? they are going to be driven by the stock head unit and 400w 4channel amp. please let me know what you think, thanks.

What amp?

 

Boston Acoustics are up there with the best. Unfortunately they got out of car audio which is a shame. The used to run at 3 ohms so check.

 

RF TM400 amp,,,checked the BA with an ohm meter, came up @4.2 ohm. any opinios on the power base? they are 6.5inch and i have the adapters coming too, to put them up front. the BA's are 5.25 so i was thinking of putting them in the stock rear location.

All you can do is stick em in there and take a listen bro! Just make sure the specs are good to go with the amp. If they sound good to you. That's all that matters.
