I'm thinking about PA601s in the lower pods, PRV 6MR500-NDYs in upper fairing, and not sure about the pak pods. I have stock 5.25 pak pods and havent researched if I can enlarge the hole to accommodate PA601s, or just go with BT747s.

Eventually I'm thinking SBD CCK lids...down the road a bit.
No Sir. One in the fairing and one in the TP. No way two of the focal amps fit the batwing fairing. Gonna have to run the second in the TP or saddle bags. In regard to the rear pods I suggest you switch those out with the 6.5 inch pods from June's upholstery. They pretty much accommodate any 6.5 speaker.

I did read about Elroy, contacted him and asked if what he had for me to buy was v1 or v2 and he never replied. The posts I saw made it seem like v2 were improved and I didnt want to pull the trigger on a 50-50 shot in the dark.

Are your 600/6 Ms or XDs? Are you content with them or itching to try the FDP?

Are the tiny Hawgwired amps with side-brackets any good for just DDB3 horns? Seems two of those and an FDP would fit in the fairing

Hmmm I've never had a problem with customer service from June's. Someone always answers the phone anytime I've called. Of course it's been about a year since I've called. A lot can change in a year. I run the JL XD600/6v2. No need to run the marine version. I'm not ready to jump in the focal sandbox until I get a few more reviews. I did that with the focal speakers a couple years back and it did not end well. That said. At this point I wouldn't run anything other than a JL and I've pretty much ran em all with the exception of the focal.
The hawg wired amps are junk. I'd stay away from those. If you want to run a smaller amp for your horns I'd recommend the NVX MVPA4.

I presently run two JL 600/6 amps. That's it. My JL's are only 75 watts per channel though. To get 200 watts I have to bridge em. But technically I can only bridge 3 speakers. Lol!!
Tecnically?

Yes technically. In my scenario the assumption is 4 ohm speakers. If a guy was to run 8 ohm speakers that number would increase to 6 speakers bridged parallel @ 4 ohms. 200 watts per channel. So yeah. Depends on the math. Just having a little fun here brother. Bottom line is I wouldn't trade my JL amps for any amp out there but that's just me. To each his own. Now in my mind that MMATS 6150 is mighty tempting if a guy has $900 bucks laying around he's not doing anything with. . . If I were to upgrade for the 100th time. That's the amp I'd roll with.

Well but the 8 ohms speakers would be receiving 100 Watts instead of the 200 that the 4 ohms will receive.
Asuming that the 6MR500-NDY (8 ohms), has the same specs than the 6MR500-NDY-4 (they show the same on paper), I don't see how the 8 ohms version is going to sound better (or at least as loud) than the 4 ohms like some claim.

Only one way to find out for your own personal satisfaction. No claim here. I've done it and those PRV's are so loud you can't hear yourself speak at 8 ohms and 100 watts. efficiency is the key bro. Reach out to 09baggerdude (Kerry) and ask him how loud his system is. Never get caught up in the paper specs bro. You gotta put in some real world work.

Subs? I've never had subs in my bike yet. I have the JL TW3 subs sitting on my shelf for a future build but I presently run 10" midrange speakers in the bags. But to answer your question. Yes Sir!! I still have my TN4.900 sitting on my shelf. Love that amp!
