A rumor floating around Knowledgefest this year was that Focal has a new speaker in development to use in conjunction with this new amp, designed to fit the Rushmore speaker pods and handle the power of this amp.
It's nice to see the high end stereo component companies start to focus on the Sled stereo market.

Totally agree with Haze! This may not be the specs desired for everyone but I'm in the crowd that runs a little less efficient speaker in exchange for the SQ my ears desire. 175W off efficient damn power can take the speakers that I tinker with to the next level without having to add amps to space that is off limits and bridge such amps accordingly.
This also applies to the folks running powerful speakers like the 250w PRVs that really do like more power.
My gut tells me this will be an industry leading amp for the SG tray and also under the RG tray but those that are hesitant I would hold off until some solid reviews come in.
Or u could buy the,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, J&M,,,,,,,,,,,630w amp,,,,,,,,,, for more cash ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, cause that's really the best,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, amp in the world,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,.

Slye....going off retail numbers for the guys on a Rushmore SG they would need a Hertz HDP4 - 599.00 plus a JM Amp tray - 150.00, that's 650.00 for an amp that's bigger, takes up more fairing room and puts out less power. For the extra 50 bucks this might be a winner especially if it's a more efficient amp and puts out rated without needed 14.4 volts. And for the RG's it's gotta be the most juice they can get from one amp that fits right under the radio. What's interesting is they are shipping them with HD speaker connectors/quick disconnects wiring. This was specifically built to target this market. I think it'll be a hit.

Just ordered this amp. Will report back when installed and tested. Focal is planning a big rollout marketing push so there should be a bunch of info regarding this amp towards the middle to end of the month.
They are pretty damn excited about this little power house!!!!!!! Me too!!!!
