Just a quick question about the settings on this amp.
What is the hz set at?
Is it set at LP OR HP?
Voltage: low or high?
2 speaker setup on 2017 street glide.
JL AUDIO XD 400/4 AMP

 

Stock head unit?
Are you using Linelevelers?
What speakers are you powering up?

set at HP
crossover should be set to 85Hz to start (and likely stay) could try to run down to 80 but that speaker plays real well at 85 with plenty of punch.

 

I got the amp set, turned it on, music for a little bit then shuts down. Pretty sure all connections are good. Ran positive & negative to the battery. Do i need a wire for the remote also? Were would that go?

I don't have a cigarette lighter, just a 12 volt accessory plug. Looking for another source.
