Two amp setting questions?
I installed a Jl audio JX 400/4dnto push 2 DWs 8 in my saddle bags. Should I have the setting on hp or lp? What should the frequency on the amp be set at and what should the frequency on HU be sat at? The head unit Sony Ax-AV100 will not allow you to turn off the low pass frequency.
Thanks for any information,
Brian

Are you able to run both HP and LP in that amp? That would be ideal, but HP around 60hz will work good.

Yes sounds right. If that allows different frequency for front and different for rear then use the xover on the head unit. If it does not and all are same then use the amps crossover and leave them off on head unit.

For the first amp inside of fairing(SS PN 4.900d) Im using the amp crossovers with the settings on hp. I have the front and rear channel hp turned off on the head unit.(The HU does not have separate crossovers for front and rear). For the 2nd amp(Jl audio JX 400/4d I have the setting on hp. The HU will not allow me to turn off the lp setting. LP setting on HU the subwoofers are: [50Hz], [60Hz], [80Hz], [100Hz], [120Hz]. Should I set it on 80 as well?
Thanks,
Brian
