Did we talk yesterday? I thought you were gonna go a different route....and weren't impressed with the Focals. For a two speaker set up the AW's are hard to beat, but for volume pro audio speakers will play much louder.

Eventually they will blow and you're wondering what the hell happened. Fact is they can't sustain long periods of volume on a motorcycle. I ran 6 K2's at one time on my bike and blew every last one of them. replaced em and blew em again.
I've run Focals for 5 years on my bikes and have never had one blow. I'm running some K2's now off the focal amp rated at 165wx4 and its one of the best sounding systems I've heard anywhere. Just my 2 cents.

So if I were to go NON Pro Audio these would be my choices.... DD would be that route probably as we spoke about the other day. Haze324 I wasn't sure you were still offering DD... but only PVR.. sorry if I confused that.

I do think now I am more and more interested in a humble Pro Audio setup...

1 I just want a 2 speaker setup BUT one I can grow with it
2 it will be louder
3 it will probably cost less for a 2 speaker

SO If I go PRO AUDIO what is a humble but good setup by itself and to grow MMATS PA601 DTX26T?
PVR line I do not know...

Lol!! I got mine from the U.K. so that might have been the difference.

I am very picky about timbre but also mostly understand what I am up against in this environment so I want volume and cut but little harshness as possible.

I also want a system that works on it's own 2 faring speakers... but it would be nice if I can grow with it if I want.

All of our ears are very different but I personally would NEVER do a 2 speaker Pro Audio speaker setup.

I have about 4000 songs on my i-machine thus it takes a pretty wide frequency range for all of the various genres to play easy on my ears. 2 PAs just won’t deliver the dynamic sound quality my ears enjoy.

Make sure u get ur ears on some 2 speaker setups before u get pregnant with any speaker purchases.

If u have ANY growth plans for your system, hold off on that JL amp purchase as well cause ur gonna need an amp that will afford such growth. Identify the finish line before u start or ur gonna potentially **** away some cash backing out of short term/sighted advances in your audio.

Listen to him! If you go pro, your going to need at least 2 more speakers to get good sound.

I have Hertz HSK165xl fairing speakers bridged on a Jl XD400/4 amp. Its very loud and clear. I have never heard a pro audio system tho. I am thought about selling them and Pro audio tho as im going to a 4 speaker system adding 6x9s in the lids.
