DD vs Focal, Rockford vs JL amp

The focals are expensive boutique speakers that are very finicky on a bike and blow very easily if you're not careful. They have to be tuned just right. The SQ you gained is lost in the wind and you find yourself turning up the volume at 70 mph to hear the same SQ you heard when the bike was sitting still. Eventually they will blow and you're wondering what the hell happened. Fact is they can't sustain long periods of volume on a motorcycle. I ran 6 K2's at one time on my bike and blew every last one of them. replaced em and blew em again.

So if I were to go NON Pro Audio these would be my choices.... DD would be that route probably as we spoke about the other day. Haze324 I wasn't sure you were still offering DD... but only PVR.. sorry if I confused that.
I do think now I am more and more interested in a humble Pro Audio setup...
1 I just want a 2 speaker setup BUT one I can grow with it
2 it will be louder
3 it will probably cost less for a 2 speaker
SO If I go PRO AUDIO what is a humble but good setup by itself and to grow MMATS PA601 DTX26T?
PVR line I do not know...

I am very picky about timbre but also mostly understand what I am up against in this environment so I want volume and cut but little harshness as possible.
I also want a system that works on it's own 2 faring speakers... but it would be nice if I can grow with it if I want.

All of our ears are very different but I personally would NEVER do a 2 speaker Pro Audio speaker setup.
I have about 4000 songs on my i-machine thus it takes a pretty wide frequency range for all of the various genres to play easy on my ears. 2 PAs just won’t deliver the dynamic sound quality my ears enjoy.
Make sure u get ur ears on some 2 speaker setups before u get pregnant with any speaker purchases.
If u have ANY growth plans for your system, hold off on that JL amp purchase as well cause ur gonna need an amp that will afford such growth. Identify the finish line before u start or ur gonna potentially **** away some cash backing out of short term/sighted advances in your audio.
