I second or third buying a service manual - by the way the price for one has shot up to over $100 now - you don't really need one for the switches.
Remove the screws holding the switch cover and you'll see the actual switch is a plug and play module. Carefully remove the stock switch and replace with the new one that has the CB push to talk button.
Might want to consider replacing the switches on both handlebars with the lighted ones. Dealer quoted me $166.95 for the right hand switch with CB button (part # 71500130B) and I was ready to pull the trigger until I looked at the lighted switches. Price was $249.95 (part # 71500248B) and now switches on both handlebars have a nice LED light.

On the 2018's, there is a black plug like part that is inside the hole where the mounting stud goes. To install a B2B on the 2018 Ultra, how does that black plug get removed? Also, is the antenna wiring already in place. Meaning just install the B2B unit in the fairing, I assume there will be a TNC connector for the antenna, then, install the stud and antenna to the tour pak? Does anyone have pictures of the removal of the plug?
