Alright. I am bone stock at the moment. Looking to improve sound quality and volume. I would like to keep the factory boom but upgrade the speakers and add an amp for under $500.
Can it be done?

Looking for recommendations.

That system has two amps. The speakers and or amps are Bi amped. Meaning one amp pushes the woofers and the other pushes the tweeters. Thanks to Harley Davidson you gotta pull the whole system out to change it.

 

The whole system MINUS the Boom HU.

I could be wrong, but i take it that the op has a stock setup without the boom amp setup. I think he was referring to keeping the stock head unit.

If that's correct, yes op, you can hit close to that budget. It will be a budget system but way better than what you have now.

 

You might be right bro! I read some of these post too dam fast. That's what happens when you read every single post lol!! I was thinking he had the stock BOOM system? If not he's got all kinds of options! OP please clarify.

 

I do not currently have any kind of amp. Just the HU that comes with the Limited.

Bt linelevelers, infinity kappas in the fairing, polk mm652 in the tour pack pods, ss pn4.1000d amp. Not sure what else on a Rushmore but others will chime in
