That answer will depend on the rest of your setup. What amp, head unit and fairing speakers.

Well actually it has to be first because I'm gonna change head units as well...and don't even have an amp but I need to know limitations on 5x7s so I know where to start.... Never dealt with a 5x7 but the lids I'm gonna buy have the CVO style 5x7 hole

Well then you will want to let the guys know your budget and year and model of bike. What type of music you listen to and what type of riding you do as well as what are your expectations of the system. These guys can help point you in the right direction based on your budget and desires for audio.

07 Electra Glide police .. has 5 1/4s I think that's right, polk audio in the fairing, and an el cheapo dual head unit. Just spent $3000 on wheel, bars and brake upgrades so budget is low...maybe $350 or so....and I don't expect to blow away all the other baggers on the block but do want loud and clear with as nice a bottom end as that budget will allow. Bluetooth and USB a must....oh yeah the Polk audio's are in good condition and are marine....if that matters

That is gonna be hard for a headunit amp and speakers. I would recommend amp and fairing speakers first then rear speakers when funds allow it. You need a solid front stage to build from first

IF I were you I would start saving for a better front stage. That Dual Head unit is not a good choice and you will be throwing money away.
No since throwing good money away on a low budget head unit.

Just my couple pennies
