Default Bad Day

Well I just found out that filling the pods with poly fill and pushing 165 to MM6502's equals a blown speaker when your step daughter turns up the volume to full. I was given a recommendation that i could drive the MM6502 with 165 to 170 watts they sounded ok but a little flat so I drilled holes in the pods sounded much better started filling the pods sound didn't really change it and about that time my 14 Year old daughter turned it up full blast "because she liked that song" and before I could turn it down one of the speakers gone crackling and major distortion.. I guess its time for better speakers open for suggestions Stock head unit PN4-1000D BT355 budget about 250.

Ready go

I finally broke down and got a set of bt brackets. I just hated to take the pods in and out. With those, you can run just about any speaker. Trust me I hated to buy them but you get a discount for being a forum member and it makes speaker install so easy and those pods are just a PIA.

The brackets also open up a variety of more speaker you can put in the fairing without modifications to the pods

I know the feeling. I blew one of my Mille and then the next day one caught on fire. Sure does suck but guess forced upgrades can be alright sometimes.

I still cant believe that those milles blew. I think that is the first time I have ever heard of any hertz having problems. BTW did you contact hertz and let them know the problem?
