First, it sounds like a connection is loose and not solid. Its not the power source or all the speakers would flicker at the same time. I don't think its the speakers themselves as the problem affects both fairing speakers intermittingly. its not isolated to just one side, so....there has to be a connection problem to channel 1/2 only. Start at the source and check the connection from hu to input to the amp. check the plug into the amp. Also, check the switch for 2/4 channel on the amp. I recently had a problem with a focal amp switch from 2/4 channel. When in 2 channel mode, everything worked but when in 4 channel mode the left front wouldn't work. Check the filter switch also on channel 1/2. If you put the amp in 2 channel mode and all 4 work ok then that switch is bad or loose. These things vibrate more than you think under the fairing and that could be the source. Good luck and let us know.

Re did all the connections and zip tied the commectors on the amp. The left AW is still cuti g out but the AT is not. Could the connections on the speaker be an issue?

It has to either be that speaker connection or one of the switches. While you have it apart, try wiggling the speaker connector with the system running. Also try a different speaker even the stock one you took of to see if it cuts out.

On the amp, there is a switch for 2 or 4 channel input. put that switch into 2 channel and see if the front speakers will work without cutting out. If that works then the switch is bad. In the 2 channel input mode, all 4 speakers should work just no fade from front to rear.

Also try hooking up another speaker just to see if that one is bad.

I changed the speaker to a HAT 6.5 I have sitting on the bench took it out and it did it. SO NOT the speaker. Then came back and set the channel from 4 to 2. Took it out and that was NOT it. So I put the AW back in and stripped and re did the entire set up. Then I Zip Tied the SHIZNIT out of it put it all back together I also cleaned up how things were routed underneath and tied everything together then took it out and I think I got it.

What a tedious pain in the ***!

I dont know if it was a wire or which wire it was or a bad connection with my RCAs but, I made sure my connections were clean and tight. Fingers crossed, I hope I got it for good. (or until I get the new BT4250 and a different set of speakers) #ImHooked!

The SHIZNIT fixed it. I need to get some more SHIZNIT. Glad you got it worked out. It had to be a bad connection somewhere.

I’m sure it was a bad connection. Just a pain taking that fairing on and off 100 times to find it so I finally just re did the entire install!

Thanks for for all your suggestions!!
