When the engine is off I can turn it way up with no issues. It's after the engine is running I can barely get to half volume and it cuts out. It's currently set to 20 volts AC, engine running, 3/4 volume, 1000hz -5db tone. Gains are pointing at 10 o clock at the most. The Line levelers are pointing at the middle dot, basically straight up as they come from BT.

Default Same issue

i have the exact same setup and the exact same issue. I did the reset over the weekend to try and fix. But still clipping. I’m at my wits end. I’ve been over the whole spectrum from 24v to 31v and beyond. Checked every connection checked +&- on txo. If someone can help you it would benefit others as there are others with same issue.

I know exactly how ya feel brother. It's frustrating cuz it sounds so good in accessory position. It sounds good engine running below half volume, but when ya really want to turn it up the amp just gives up. I'm to the point where I might swap this amp for one of the 3 I have on the shelf. A B2, a B52, or the PBR.

I had the same problem when I hooked this combo to a B54. Switched to a xd400/4 and no problems.

Let me know if solution arises. I wonder if crossovers might be bad.? These were used at least by 2 others prior I may invest 15$ on a new set. Other than that i’ve No clue where to go next

Try taking the txo-ho out of the equation and try turning it up. If that doesn't work try checking the impedance of your AWs should be close to 4ohms, it will jump around some. Maybe a coil has opened or shorted and it just takes time to overheat the amp trying to drive that load.

As suggested in an earlier post remove the TXO-HP and replace it with a capacitor within the correct range the tweeters play In. That should eliminate your issue. I had the same issue last season but with an Arc 600.4 amp.
I pulled the TXO-HP ,replaced it with a capacitor and havent looked back.

Also another possible problem. Did you do any adjustment to the bt355? try backing off the input gains a tad as you said it is ok when not running but clips when running. The input gains are on the end of the line leveler. Bt sets those half way when they ship them and that just may be too much for your amp. Counter clockwise just a tad and that may take care oif your problem.
