Azlou, have you run the mille 690.3 before? I have run them with a focal sport, tm 400, stinger and a little rz-1200. I have also run the vo's with all those amps except the rz1200. The milles sound better in all applications and provide the highs that the vo's wont without adding a horn that can be hard to tame if not properly tuned. The vo's are a viable mid range 6x9 but leave the high end out that the milles can provide with power from both the focal sport and the tm400 from a single channel with out bridging, adding horns, tweets and crossovers or capacitors. Just saying.

True, Max if you already have them then give them a try. The milles with lots of power, can produce highs can make your ears bleed and you will loose the low end from distortion. That is why I suggested the hcx 165's as the highs aren't as ear piercing as the milles especially with lots of power.

I'm still curious about this gentleman's HU, music genres, riding style, budget, etc.

OP, before u start peeling cash out make sure u not only have a fairly solid product selection list but also the install parameters that will enable it all to come together.

Just sayin!!!

Dammit T why do you have to be so sensible? I got all caught up in defending my beloved mille 690's that I forgot the first rule. What is the OP looking for in the end. Thanks for putting this thread back on tract.

HU is Sony Dsx 310btx. All styles of music, rock mostly. Reason I went with VOs and horns is to hear at highway speeds. Girl was complaining she couldn’t hear. Budget is at play however if I’m gonna build a system, I want it right. Loud, clear, with some bass that’s all I’m looking for. I know bass is hard without bag subs but I think I can get there somewhat with 6x9’s. Appreciate everyone’s comments. So much to choose from....

Have you listened to the DD's since you adjusted your LOC's? If your set up wasn't right don't blame the speakers.

So are the PRV Neo’s waterproof? I mean I never spray speakers directly but we all get caught in the rain....if they happen to get a little wet, are they done?

im pretty much sold on these after more research and high reviews. Thanks for all the support guys!
