Sony XAV-A5000 screen glare + amp question
Have a 2018 SGS and like many others feel that the 6.5 Boom HU is extremely outdated. I can't stand the GPS and maps so always use my phone on a handlebar mount but saw posts about the Sony XAV-AX5000 which would be perfect for how I use my tech. Also seem like a good foundation for adding an aftermarket amp and upgrading the fairing speakers.
For those already using the Sony HU, how's the screen glare when riding in sunny weather? I understand it's not necessarily very glove friendly which is fine, I usually start a Spotify playlist and leave it until I stop. Right now I'm thinking of getting , has anyone installed this with the Sirius model on a Harley? If so, does it work well?
Last, I'm thinking of pairing this with RF TM400X4ad as I have Polk MM652 in the tour pak. Any recommendations for good speakers to run in the fairing that would work well with this amp? Not too concerned about budget and mostly listen to rock.

Glare is noticeable compared to the stock unit. But its kind of a fleeting glare, only when the sun hits it directly which doesn't happen often on batwings. It's been sunny for 3 weeks straight here and I've rode every day and not once did i have an issue.
Gloves are hit or miss. One pair works great, the other pair I need to press two or three times sometimes. That said, its such a FAST deck its not bothersome in the least pressing twice.

I bought the same kit on Amazon from Volunteer Audio. I couldn’t be happier wish I would have done this long ago. I have no problems with glare I don’t wear gloves but as the others have mentioned seems to be hit or miss. This is truly a plug and play kit and the sound quality is much better.
