Tried and true - Best speakers for lowers??
#11
I've used both Mmats PA601 and PRV 6MR500-NDY speakers in the lowers. Both of them sound great.... the PRVs are a bit louder and the Mmats are a little warmer. Either are a good choice.
My current setup is PRV neos in the fairing, PRV neos in the lowers, VO-M6x9s in the lids, VO-B3 horns in the fairing and VO-B3 horns in the lids. I've got a Focal Sport running the PRVs and 6x9s, an NVX-MVPA4 running the horns and a DSR1 for tuning. My headunit has also been flashed to the 2 amp 8 speaker flash. I don't think I would recommend what I have in the fairing/lowers unless you swapped out the fairing speakers to something like the AW6.5s. That should give you some good warmth. A full pro audio front needs some low end help from speakers in the rear. Now if you added some rear speakers...... PRV neos all the way in my opinion. They just work for me and flat out rock.

It can be done man. This is a bike we did when were in Alabama earlier this year. It has four PRV speakers a set of B3 horns, a Soundigital amp, and Arc DSP and you'd think it had something in the bags. The song used in the vid is from the Term Lab tuning disc that has various songs to help tune different sounds. 09Baggerdude on the forum heard this bike in person. Thing thumped!
