Amp tuning questions
Just a couple questions about amp tuning. I have a Cerwin Vega B52 amp along with Hertz CPX 165 Pro speakers. I tuned the sens/gain with a multimeter per the sticky on this site, then listened to a few songs and saw how they went. I had the x over mode in HP (high pass). What is flat? And also I see there is a **** called Freq. What exactly does Freq do and should I pay more attention to adjusting it?

flat means all frequencies pass to the speakers. Hp is a filter to only let frequencies above the setting pass. Lp is low pass which is the opposite. You should be using hp probably 80-90hz. That's what the frequency **** is. Hope this helps ya

9 is probably pretty close. The lower you move the dial ( to the left) the more bass you get. The lower the frequency the sooner you get to distortion. A little move makes a difference. Gotta find what pleases you

Curious what happens if it's too high?
I am not an audiophile though nor do I play one on TV.
