PRV 6mb250-NDY
#11
I was running 4 6MB250s, 2 in the fairing and 2 in the lowers, along with DD tweeters off a PN4.1000. I also have a PRV 8i in each along with 6x9s in the lids.
The front stage got really loud at half volume but didnt have warmth.
I switched out the two in the fairing with a set a friend built and it sounds pretty damn good now. I am getting mid-bass from the front stage that I didn’t have before. Still tweaking though.
For those pushing about 120-140 watts to the 6MB250; where are you crossing them over?
thanks

Actually funny you should ask that question T about using these speakers in the stock pods on a batwing.
I did a install for buddy on his bike with 4 of the PRV 6MB250NDY a set of DD T2 tweeters ,linelevler and a Diamond 4v2.
Here is a video of the setup.

a set built by a guy near me that he wanted me to try out. He’s testing them on my bike. All US sourced parts and of course in the US, NM to be exact. I’ll run them for a few weeks, then we’re meetimg up for some tuning. At that time I’ll install 4 of these 6.5s at 8ohm on 2 of the channels so I can run the tweeters on their own. We’ll see how it goes. Once we’re done I’ll see if he’ll let me offer them up here for someone to test out and provide some additional feedback. I’ll attach a pic so you can what they look like. No magnet pics, I was excited to install them and see what I had.
