I didn't care for them. I had them in my lids and being pushed with pn4.1000d, sounded kinda weak. I had a pn1.1000d mono amp laying around so I tried it on them. Amp has a built in lowpass crossover that couldn't be bypassed so I set it to 250hz. The bass was louder and saddlebags sounded like they were gonna blow apart but it just wasn't clear sound. I blew them in two days. I believe a set of pioneer pros or vo's would work better

I think it's a moot point as we cause the magnet is sooooo damn big that the 6x9s just will not be viable on sled lids.

ok, i have an update on the 6.5 Rockville speaker.
It's kinda funny on a side note about these speakers, cause i used to live in a city named Rockville and I also used to play in a band named Rockville. wierd.
anyhow, i did a side by side test with these checking for tourpack pods fit and sound. they went up against Mmats PA601.4, Timpano 6 Slim and PRV 6MR250. The magnet again is pretty big, so it does need a spacer and maybe some heat massge to the pod. As far as sound, the Mmats just beat it, but not by much.
in order of my preference1 Mmats
2 Rockville
3 Timpano,,,,suprised me
4 Prv 6MR250,,,this one i don't think that i'd use for anything, even a budget build
my thoughts are the rockville might be good for a budget build in the fairing and lowers and also in the tp pods if you can work out the spacing and send them some power and of course they need horns.
