Default Rockville Preliminary Report

ok,
so i had to get some of these in just too see. got the 4 ohm 6.5's and the spl 6x9's. these f'n 6x9s are HUGE and heavy! they look cool, but the proof will be in the puddin as they say. the 6.5's actually look kinda nice, look very similar to the PA 601.4's. i've got some guinea piggin to do, so i'll report after i get them hooked up and sound checked. i just had to see what they were like for the price point and return policy.

Give the 6.5 125+ watts, cross it at 90-115, and let it roll. Btw, if you have a Rushmore with the Bt brackets, good luck closing the fairing. Get your grinder out. Part of the magnet is going to have to go.

Won't fit where? I did not see where the OP was planning on installing them. Either way, not sure why they wouldn't fit in a bag lid or inside a bag. Mounting depth appeared to be 4.5" from the spec I looked at.

the motor magnets are like a double stack, they are very long. i'm gonna mount them in HT lids to see how that works out first. they would not be an issue for an inside the bag side fire mount, but i'm going to reserve any judgment on that yet as i think an 8 or 10 would be a better choice, but let me hook them up and see before i say to much.

I looked at the 6x9s last year, the 8 lbs a piece killed the deal before I went any farther.

What were the results on the rm64pro 6.5 ? if they sound decent I will try them out and add a set of Audiopipe ATQ-1550 tweeters and impress with a budget in my fairing.
