Adding Tour-pak Speakers - Infinity Kappa 62.11

I have a couple of Kappa 62.11 in my garage and was thinking about adding speaker pods to the King Tour-pak on my 2014 SG. Currently I have Kappa's in the fairing pods with a PBR300x2 amp running them off the stock Boom 6.5 infotainment system. So, if I add the pods and Kappa's, should I just get a second PBR300x2 or is there a good 4 channel amp that would sufficiently power these speakers. Truthfully, I am not 100% happy with the RF amp so may take this opportunity to upgrade.

Thoughts?

Not to stir the pot but I'm pretty sure we all told you you'd be less than impressed with that amp a while back. Regardless....The Kappas will work in the TP pods but will require a spacer to fit. I wouldn't use another PBR amp for the rears. I'd upgrade to a good 4ch to push it all. What kinda budget are we looking at and are you using the BT355 Line Leveler?

I would like to stay under $400 for the amp. Still using the line leveler, assume I would need another one since this one only works with 2 channels.

I haven't bought them yet so will get something else if needed but thought that the upgraded pods would fit the 6 1/2" Kappas.

Obviously clarity is an issue but consider that I don't sit parked listening to this radio. I am usually on the road going about 60-80mph with ear plugs in and a full helmet. I am not looking for the clarity one would expect in a high end automobile. I need something that can get past the wind, exhaust, ear plugs and helmet and not sound like shart in the process.

I think this would be a great amp and will be one you can grow with.

Bates, have you tinkered with one of those stinger amps before? On paper it looks pretty good. At some point I am thinking of moving the RF TM400x4ad out of the bag and into the fairing and the amp you just listed looks to have similar specs, but I am wondering if it would be as powerful as the RF in actual usage.

I love the sound of the RF, but it is the hottest running amp I have ever encountered. I am thinking of replacing the SS in the fairing to regain some FM reception and wondered it it would run cooler in the fairing where it might possibly get some airflow.
