Thanks again for the testing and reviews
Beyma DOES have a comparable woofer but the reason why this coax works is because the "horn" is really a compression driver with a vocal range and not a tweeter. So if the woofer falls off in the vocal range, your DD B3 is not going to play low enough to pick up where the woofer drops off....hence the use of a compression driver. The Faital would be a better option that has a woofer that plays higher in the freq range.

Thx for the response.

Is the Faital water resistant? Looking at the response curve they don’t seem to come on till well over 100hz, how does the sound compare to a prv neo?

how much work is it to get them in the sg pods? How much power do they need?

Always fun to read these reviews. Definitely appreciate the time and effort to post these.

You mentioned it will take quite a bit more power than the PRV to be as loud. Do you feel the SD800.4 was enough power for the Beyma? I'm assuming this is a bridged wiring configuration?

What if they were in the bracket from the front? Put speaks in bracket then install brackets.

Yeah the 800.4 was plenty but remember I'm also using a DSP to tune them.

About mounting them in front of the BT bracket, I would guess that the suspension of the woofer would hit the inner fairing. I don't know that, just guessing.

Maybe lowers or another location if the bike had tons of bass to keep up.
It's funny you say that. I got the opportunity to hear those today. Loud as hell, but every bit as bright. The guy that has them, loves them. Myself, i'd hate them. You are dead on with your assessment.
