Aquatic radio questions
I just had the high end Aquatic radio installed in my 09 Roadglide,it seems now my handlebar controls donot work any of the radio features..(volume,change channels),etc. I've had the installer check out the wiring and he states he cannot find anything wrong.
Has anyone experienced this problem after a install of the Aquatic, & if so what was the problem?
what else can the installer check?
I did alittle research and found if you have led headlights installed,( I have daymakers) it prevents or blocks the handlebar signal to the unit...anyone hear of this? If so...what was the fix?
thanks in advance

Did your installer try a different Aquatics head unit? I’m asking because I went through three new units before I received one that worked correctly. I had noise issues. It’s a great unit once I got a good one. No issues with the handlebar controls. They work flawlessly.
thanks for your response!

The Aquatics AV units are absolutely plug and play via your OEM 23 pin connector. On a simple two speaker (in fairing) Street or Road Glide installation you simple remove the 23 pin connector and antenna cable from the OEM HK unit and remove the HK unit from the bike. Four screws only. Simply reverse the process using the Aquatics AV unit. If your HK head was working with handlebar controls your new Aquatics will. There is no wiring involved. Plug in your old HK unit again. If the handle bar controls work your 23 pin connection is fine and the Aquatics AV is the problem. You can easily do this yourself.
