Bike wash- speaker covers
Gonna see if this works. Will only take a minute to put on, cost nothing.

Thin plastic covers that came with my Hertz speakers. Rather than throw them away, notched them where needed to fit around clutch/brake cables.
Put them in place, 2-3 pieces of tape to hold them there, and should be able to spray down bike without getting speakers wet.

Smart thinking. It was just hard to see in the pic. Thanks for the idea.

If your grills are metal you can stick a magnet on top of your cover. That’s what I do.
