it depends on how much current your rig is going to draw. the wires for charging harnesses typically are not rated to handle large draws. 10-15 amps max. you need to know what it is going to draw and fuse it accordingly. If the base wire is not rated for the amp draw, then you will either have to use a connector harness that is properly rated, or wire it to the battery.

Look into XT-60 or XT90 connectors on eBay. I have played around with RC racing for 20+ years and can vouch for an xt60 taking over 100 amps of current with no issues. It’s small but freakin stout. The XT90 I’d look at if you don’t have ridiculous soldering skills as it places to connect it are larger and easier to put together.
I use tiny XT30’s as quick disconnects for my lowers up front so I can unhook and remove them quickly if I ever lose my mind and want to ride completely naked.
