I went with the biketronics Hertz 1650.3 setup, didn't want to deal with the giant Hertz crossovers.they sound awesome.

I will tell you that the SQ from these speakers is superb. They are not as loud as say a pa style like the hertz sv's or prv's but you will be hard pressed to find better SQ in my opinion.

Show guys haha. Mike, I had the mlk1650's in my fairing and a set of sv's in the lowers. I had to back the gains down on the sv's to blend with those mlk's better. I eventually took out the mlk's and put in a set of ml 1800's. I really like that combo up front. Not real loud with db around 110-125 but SQ is fantastic. I think the show guys run 125+ db on those competition bikes.

Not really compared to the competition bikes I have heard. I have a db meter app on my old iPhone 5 that shows an average of 110 at 3/4 volume so I am not even sure how accurate it is. What I was getting at is the hertz ml series are just damn good sq with the right power and tune. I am running my fairing and lowers off a stinger amp.
