I'm looking for opinions on the following components for my 2016 Road Glide Ultra

1. Cerwin Vega B54 amp - $168 Amazon
2. Infinity Kappa 62IX 75watt speakers - ($108pr) - $216 Amazon
3. Biketronics Breakout harness (includes line levelers) - $243 Biketronics

Total $627

 

Come up w a few more bucks and get a different amp. If u ever want to swap the 2 ohm Kappas out ur screwed for watts as a vast majority of the solid speaker options are 4 ohm.
Spend a couple more bucks now leaving u future options or spend a lot more money doing a do-over when that time comes.
I think the CV is 280 and the Stinger 700 is $350 maybe?

And ont forget the SD 800.4 at about 320 also solid choice

 

Very nice amp but until the new ones come out w crossovers I would take that off the list without a DSP.
But it would be a shift from the Breakout harness to a DSP which could be even money as long as the op is willing to invest the sweat into tuning the DSP.

I tried the Kappas in an 18 RGU. You'd need new grilles on fairing. Plus I just couldn't get them to fit right. Also I don't think the kappas are gonna fit in the TP without big ugly spacers.

I used the stinger 700 amp and some crescendo 6.5 coax and some kicker coax in the TP. Didn't do breakout harness because didn't care about fade. Just used BT355 alone on front outputs of Boom.

Where is the best place to buy the Stinger amp?

 

I bought it on Rakuten.com about 5 months ago. Got it for a steal at $250. Don't know where to find it so cheap now. Everywhere I see it's $370
