Default why switches set to 2 ohm

so maybe I read this wrong and that could be my problem
2Ω Stereo/4Ω Bridged Any speaker or combination of speakers with a total combine Ohm load between 2 and 4 Ohms (not lower then 2 Ohms) must use position. Bridged loads down to 4 Ohm must use this position. The amplifier will make full power at 2 Ohms Stereo (4 Ohms bridged). Note: you can use any Ohm load above 2 Ohms in this position however power output will drop as the impedance increases.

Not everyone needs to throw gobs of wattage at small speakers in an attempt to make them sound like larger speakers.

A common complaint I have seen on these boards regarding the Arc 602 speakers is that they sound too bright. Could it be that over driving them is why they sound that way?
I think you have the Arc Moto 602's confused with the DBMotos. The Arc 602 is a 86db sensitivity speaker and really NEEDS 150+w to wake up. The Dbmotos are a 103db speaker and will still take 150w but are warmer with a lil less.

No, I was referring to a previous poster who told me I should be running more than 150W to my Motos. I have heard users describe the Arc 602s as sounding bright but I cannot say myself I have never tried a set.

KMarine I haven't tinkered with the settings on that amp that you are using but you could try calling Arc tech support at 209-543-8706 and describe your setup and settings to them and see what they recommend.

I wonder if Soundz makes earbuds? That might be more along my budget.

Inthought you had the Arc Moto speakers sorry I misread what you were running. I thought we were trying to help the OP
with his Arc Moto speakers not other brands or what your set up consists of.
