If you don’t have an all out bangin stereo setup, my absolute favorites for tuning my 4 speaker setup was maroon 5 “girls like you” and Bazzi’s “beautiful”.

They arent extreme like like some of the ones a lot of guys are using but if you’re just setting up a couple of amps and an EQ, those will give me a full range of sound that I can carry over to just about every other genre of music.

Are you guys tuning with songs from your playlist that you normally listen to or do you have songs that you just use for tuning?

Anyone try tuning to Kiesza? She has a crazy high voice.

Two songs that are some of the first I play while tuning, you're probably gonna laugh, are Modonna "Papa don't Preach" and Corrosion of Conformity "Clean My Wounds". Now on audiophile stuff I have some test discs for competitors, but they are for a totally different application.

To test highs there is an Alanis Morissette song called "Your House" that will split your skull with the right drivers.

i always just used stuff from a genre I liked. I’d pick the toughest one and do it off of that because I figured if I could dial that in, everything else would play well.

Now ow that I’ve gotten in over my head with this system, I tend to get outside of what I normally listen to and I have a playlist of specific stuff I use to tune with that I’ve picked up from here and stuff Louie Bailey player for me on his monsters at Lucky 7.

I use a levelled white noise generator and an audio spectrum analyser with a Behringer mic.

Daily riders should be tuning to extreme songs in every genre they have and find the perfect balance between them all.

The parking lot boys obviously have sick tuning skills but even after that they select very specific songs within their desired genres that compliment the max performance levels of their setups and also appease the judges / crowd.

Tuning for one or two songs might not be the best strategy for our riding styles.

Most important, use high quality sources!!!!!!
