That is an 8 ohm speak correct? How much power are you sending to the PRV and how are you wiring it

I've got the GZ yellow baskets and love them .... but I was looking for a 4ohm midbass to match the rest of my system and the amp that I already had. I initially had the PRV8mb450's in my bags and upgraded to the GZ's. I have a set of Cadence XPro69's in my lids, running 150w to them with ~250w going to the GZ's. I have played around with running the GZ's out of phase with the Cadence 6x9s and it does make them sound louder ... but they are hollow .... so I switched them back around rather quickly.

I am running the GZCK's (yellow basket) 8's in the rear corner of my bags and VO 6x9's in the lids, and they don't seem like they are fighting each other at all! I have played them at high volume and have tried with the lid closed and locked and then cracked the lid open to allow them to vent a little, with no discernible difference to me (actually sounded a little tighter with lids closed)! I put 8's in because I wanted to keep the lid speaker, because my better 1/2 can hear the lids when cruising! Would they sound better separated, with proper enclosures per manufacturer specs...I'm sure...but they sound good to me and not worth the effort or bag space IMHO! Musical Mike

I have the same setup in my bags/lids and don't have any issues either and I crank them pretty good. Each of the 4 speakers are getting 200W from a SD 800.4 and they get nice and loud with good midbass. I also have a DD B3 in each lid mounted to American Hard Bag mounts. Those are running off another amp along with my front setup.

M,
Is each PRV speaker getting 125 or are you sending 250 to each?

Damn I gotta cross my beyma's at 100hz at 200w or they start heating up real fast when I play music with a lot of bass. They still beat hard as a **** at that setting once you get about 3/4 up the volume.
