Getting 8's and 6x9's to play well together

Well, ya know ..... I haven't even taken the time to check to see how hot the speaker gets, lol. I normally ride around listening to 90's alternative rock, country, and some classic/southern rock. Not normally real bass heavy, but I will throw on my 90's hip-hop from time to time and some of 'THOSE' tracks to see just how hard it will hit and impress from time to time.

For those running the 8 ohms speakers are you guys running in parallel to get to 4 ohms and then running them in mono?

250 to each PRV and bridged is mono.

What amp are you powering the PRV's with?

How low are you crossing that at 250 watts?

When using the PRV 800MB600FT with the 8" Jefe Rings in the Saddlebags is it necessary to round the PRV 's to make them fit like you have to do with the PRV 6MR500 in the Lowers?

That would depend on how you plan on mounting the PRV's to the ring .... wouldn't it? If you are going to mount it to the rear of the ring from inside the bag, then you should be fine ..... BUT if you plan on mounting it inside the ring from the outside, then I would imagine you would need to round that basket to fit inside the round Jefe ring .... would you not?
