thanks Laman..once i figure this DSR out i can really dial in these speakers.. so far.. everything is pretty much flat..8s in the bags crossed over at 80.. and the 6.5s crossed at 120
the 4 ch amps are at 10a on gains.. and the 6 channel at about 9.. its barely even breathing..lol.. I have so much in the tank, i just dont know what I am doing yet...lol.. i wish i lived more in the south... they seem to be tuning all the time down there..
guess i just have to keep playing with it and learning..

DD DSI-2, Nice unit.

I had the DSR-1 last year. Personally I am not a fan.

hmmm well i can already tell why you would want to switch and I havent even asked you what problems you had...lol...its not the most user friendly thing.. i am sure it has its perks but the learning curve is real steep plus all the updates..
i like the channel summing feature... just read up on it a little bit

I talked to a local installer today says alot of people want the moon in there system buts its not a car,,, size /room/ location have to be thought out he suggested me 2 diamond micro4x2 that would give me 8 channels i like that idea. came home and researched it he says that they will fit on top of the amptray the long ways, as they can slide in alittle bit under the space under top vent .Now this is what im thinking .Mmats md 4110 amp would give me 8 channels 110 at 4ohms its size specs are almost the same as the diamond micro less than 1/4 taller the plus on it is that it has built in crossover for each channel now im thinking i can delete the though of dsr-1 less money idk what do you think? im gonna run mmats 601 in lowers 601cx in tp and herts mpk 165.3 in fairing and would have an open channel for them in amp whats ur thoughts

I tried to get both those amps under the fairing and it caused the wiring to be bunch up to the left or the right too much... yes.. you can get the amps in there but once you get the all wiring it was a no go for me. 1 amp for sure.... now maybe someone can be creative and cut out something.. all things are possible so I am not saying it cant be done.. I was just not willing to cut out anything on my ultra.. Now as far as the DSR.. i may be exaggerating a tad.. its a headache.. but so is a woman..but in some cases you need her too...lolol.. i need my DSR for the control and what it brings to the table..is it a headache..? yes.. but its an ok headache... eventually you will add it down the line anyway if you dont do it now... because you have allready caught the bug like all of us..lol. sounds like you are off to a great start to me... and since you will have everything torn apart.. and the dsr is only an extra 250..its worth the trouble with all that equipment you will have.. just my 2c
