It's a ok amp for some speakers but not a good choice for the Hertz SPL 8". that speaker wants 250 watts minimum.

Very true!! I wouldn't say my mind is made up, haven't bought anything additional. I already have the RF 4 channel amp running JL 7.7's. If I could get away with just adding one amp to that that'd be cool but trying to figure best options. The guy at the shop swears by the RF amp. (he's selling it obviously). I'm trying to get suggestions about a good amp that would power those 8's. Also, I don't have a tour pak so space is of concern too. I've seen what I think are good amps but I'm kind of new to the game so getting some experienced opinions. Thanks

If space is of a concern look into the GZ micro 4 channel. Bridged to those SV 8's would give them 250 each. that is a small amp and will fit in the CB cubby hole.

What is your complete system?
What are your plans?
Fairing?
Lowers?
Lids?
Bags?

You do realize those lid speakers and the 8's in the bags are going to fight the hell out of one another unless you seal off the 8's in the bags right???
