RGS back today and I had the Sony 5000 installed along with Groundzero Yellow basket midwoofer running off a ARC Audio 600 and up graded my fairing amp to the Diamond Audio 800.4. I had already had 6x9's in the lids a few folks here said it wouldn't sound good because of the air fight in the saddle bag. I am here to say it sounds fantastic and thumps.
If those GZ's are setup properly, I'll bet you your installer has the Freq's dialed back on the 6x9's. If you're happy with it then that's all that matters.

So you paid money for a S&S 143, put a monster Cam in there, then restricted it with the world smallest air cleaner and had to turn the injectors down and then retard the timing some so it has good street manners?

Not really the wrong thread, just a comparison that he's actually correct about. Does it work, sure it does but at what cost. It's really not that hard to fab up something to separate the 2 speakers. Doubt very seriously you're going to be filling your bags with junk anyway for fear of stuff getting into the speaker.

The ones that are wrong are those that said don't do it. It won't sound good and to dump the lids and get regular lids and just add horns.

The bags are empty I added a razor tour pak for all my stuff to go into which isn't much.
