I am just installing the hogtunes lowers. Unfortunately my Hertz SV 165.1 have not arrived. So tomorrow I will be installing a set of DD VO-6.5M in there
I will add a picture when I get these done. With a 1/2 spacer you can fit a few different speakers. And with the hogtunes adapters and relocating the coolant reservoir it looks like there is a pile of room in there even without spacers.
the spacer will bring the speaker flush with the front of the adapter.
I decided to follow the advice of many others and do the lowers first.

I have not done mine. But there is info on here. Search coolant reservoir relocate or something like that. Goes kinda below the seat on the brake side I believe.
Just installed the DD VO-6.5M in the hogtunes lowers. I needed a 1/4 spacer and then they fit with no issues. Went for a 80 mile ride right after. Sounds great!
