Thanks for keeping us updated. I would like to do something soon but not sure the best way to spend the money. Was going to do the double dine radio and fairing but I ride in rain. I’m on a 2010 ultra

That's what the pac sni 15 does right. Head to the sni 15 to the amp?

Yep, it converts speaker level signal that currently comes out of HU, down to a low level signal that goes to the amp.

Correct. Keep in mind you will need a second one for the rear channel if you want to hook up the rear speakers. If you want to keep things in one box PAC does make one module that is four channel but a second SNI-15 will accomplish the same result.

This video is an interview with a PAC rep that does a great job of explaining the features and adjustments of their different line output converters.

The LP7-4 looks like a really cool part because it converts front and rear speaker level inputs to front and rear RCA outputs PLUS it adds a remote turn-on wire that you can run to your amp. That way when you turn off your head unit it powers off the amplifier. I wired my amps in a similar manner so if I get caught in a heavy rain storm I can turn off the head unit and my amps and DSP power off as well. Also if I am working on the bike and don't want the audio equipment turned on but need the switch on this feature is really nice.

Here is a link to the LP7-4:
LocPRO Series 4-Channel Line Output Converter with Remote Turn-On Circuit

Don't let the price scare you they go for about half that online. Here is a pic of the wiring diagram from their instructions:

Funny. I didn't lke the Idea of having a second SNI 15 so I ordered a PAC LP7-4 Pro. Came back to see the edit with the LP7. Thanks, looks like I'm heading in the right direction.

Still waiting on parts, probably be at least a week. I've been pulling up instruction and watching videos. Tomorrow I'm going to pull a schematic and review. Little Old Skool, but I like to have A - B - C - D somewhat clear in my mind before I start moving.

OK - getting the Mmats front and rear. Now that my focus is getting a little clearer - don't really want to buy new pods for the rear $$$ so 1/2" spacer and grills. Is there a specific 1/2" spacer (not finding it) and I'm searching Mmat grills with little luck so far also.

Just sent a message to Aggressive about links for the rear. As stated before I ussually run without the rears, so I have more time to work on that. Do want to get it all together for setting levels, even if I don't have the rear finishing touches.

Thanks. I'll see what Agressive comes up with also. I'm certainly not a stranger to modifying.

The Mmats grills and waterproofing are an option when you are ordering speakers off the Mmats web site. I am guessing Aggressive should also be able to help you out with grills as well as the correct adapter/spacer to use on your factory rear pods.
