Fault codes after installing Sony AXV-AX7000
 

Hi, finished the install of the Sony AX7000 on a 2020 electra glide. Everything sounds good - bike starts and runs - but engine light won't shut off. When I check for fault codes - I get ECM fault code U0156h, BCM fault code U0156h and U0184h, and Speedo fault code U0184h. Is this a result of connecting the stereo and do they just need to be reset? Any suggestions would be appreciated.Thx

As with any DTC code, note it and reset it and see if it comes back.

If you removed the main fuse during install, these codes are common. The codes refer to loss of communications between BCM, ECM, radio, etc.

Thanks Brandon - didn't even consider the ECM would fault upon disconnecting gauge cluster. All cleared and good to go
