In future if i decided to mount Tourpak with speakers, Could i connect frot 4 speakers (fairing, lowers) to amp, and rear two speaker in tour park to stock radio, or i need another amp?
Seller say that this is very good amp?
what about rear speakers in tour pak?
kind regards,
Bostjan
Well if im selling a product, i guarantee its the best product you can buy. lol
Honestly I don't know anything about the amp on ebay, just the specs are a little lackluster. Its only a 400 watt amp. 75watts to each speaker isn't enough to hear them well at highway speeds.
hey it is me again
Now i decided to go with cerwin vega B54 - i get it for good money.
which 4 speakers do you recomend to me, also cerwin vega or something other? They probably have to be "marine" version or waterresistent?
And another guestion do i have to flash radio if I use BT355 line leveller. if not what is better to flash or to use this leveller?
In the future if i decided to add speakers to my tour pak, do i need another amp or can i connect this to the radio?
Kind regards,
Bostjan
I'll let someone else with more experience comment. That amp still seems light for 4 speakers at 80 watts/4ohm, but maybe with some creative wiring it would work.
In other posts i can read a lot of good stuff about this cerwin vega.
my budget is around 700 for amp and for speakers, probably i willl need bike elektronics 355 converter...
Its a good amp, just not enough power to push very many speakers well.
Grab two pair of mmats 601cx speakers and give it a go. They're weather resistant (get the coating), reasonably priced to stay in your budget, and sound great! Not sure about how well they fit in pre rushmore tour pack pods though. Might need some adapters. Someone else may comment on that.
Edit: sorry forgot you're adding lowers. not a tour pack. Should be pretty easy to fit in lowers. Maybe a bit of trimming in fairing and lowers, but not much I wouldn't think.
If you're stuck on the B54 amp I would suggest getting 2ohm speakers instead of 4ohm. That amp is really lacking power to push a 4ohm speaker.
Look at the Infinity Kappa 62ix. You can spray them with something like Kiwi Camp Dry to help weatherproof them.
