Who uses a crimper to crimp on ferrules? Stick the ferrule on the wire and put the damn thing in the amp. Screw down on the ferrule. Crimped.

Read above my friend lol.. Been there done that. Not even Astroglide was gettin that ferrule in that amp

ss sp4 100. I figured out the issue. my ground wire is 6g. I have a new set of 8g power and ground on the way

You must not have ever used one or know what it does. No point in using a ferrule if its not crimped or soldered. Its not doing anything. The screw from the amp with cut right through it. When you need to remove it, the cable will come out and then you’ll be digging the ferrule out with a screwdriver.

It does. I have one similar. The ferrule tool crimps all sides at the same time and makes it into a tight square

use heat shrink and the problem is solved. Or use a lil solder.
