Amp Recommendation for 4 6x9's
 

6x9's to be installed in the bags, and going to run a dedicated amp in the bag for just these 4 speakers. The plan as of now is to use 2 prv neo's and 2 mmats coax.

Opinions on a an amp choice?

1200.4 2ohm...will take care of those speakers and leave a lot on table.

I was looking at the 4 ohm version of the 1200.4

​​​​​​4ohm works as well...just won't be able to add any other speakers down the road...2ohm you could potentially add 2 fairing speakers.

Question. Well 2 questions really. Which specific SD amp model of the 1200.4 am I looking for? EVOX2? Also, what is a good vendor for them..

In my opinion, if not running the stock radio and capable of adjusting freq from HU, I would go with the EVO version. You lose crossover adjustments on the amp (which are useless anyway), and no 1yr warranty, but you save a lot out of the gate. I been running a 1200.4EVO 5 for months now no problem.
