PRV's
 
Anyone hear these? PRV's used to be a big part of sled audio.

Im using these 6.5 in my fairing & lowers on my 09 UC
with separate tweets they are loud and handle midbass for the price.

these are not true 6.5 the flange is a little smaller and you will need to water proof them with a spray can .

I have not heard those, yet. It would appear that PRV is hopping on the bandwagon of compression driver coax speakers, to compete with Euphoria, Cicada, Beyma and the like. As far as practicality, they look awfully deep for a stock pod drop in.

For PRV, they are not in their typical price category. PRV is historically an inexpensive speaker, not that $700 is out in left field today. There have been many out there able to tune a PRV to sound really good. Like Beyma, they do require quite a bit of tuning, to get in a good spot.

In years past, there were several here, myself included that would try them, just to try them. A lot of those guys don't hang here much anymore. If I didn't have my bike where I really like it, I'd try em.
