The polks have four wires from them and into the crossovers. 1 pair for the tweeters and one for the speakers. These two pairs go into the crossover and 1 pair comes out. The wires that come out of the crossover are: 1 solid black and one black with white stripe. My question is which is positive and which is negative?
the white stripes are positive on all polk crossovers. the connectors for the speakers are specific to each wire. pay attention to the size of the connectors on the wires.

System Rocks!!!! All enjoyment of the new system ended quickly when the un-mounted amp came crashing down on my front fender! Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuudge!!!!!! Anyone know where I can get a touch up pen?

ESPECIALLY IF YOU SPLICE (to lengthen) THEM!
If ya get them crossed up (tweeter/sub,) you'll watch the majic smoke escape from the tweeter!

oh crap! sorry to hear that man.. buddy of mine did the same thing installing a RF amp in a sharknose fairing. just set it on top of the ALREADY angled radio thinking it would stay.. well it didn't and made a nice little dent in the top of his fender. He used that as an excuse to his wife to get a stretched fender and 21" front wheel. so it might work in your favor if you play it right. :-)
