Another audio ? for the pro's

Hello all...
I am going to change out the speakers and amps on 2013 Roadglide. My plan is to go with ARC amps, HAT 5x7's in the lids and I can't decide on what to put in the fairing and was wanting a few opinions please.
The fairing already has 5x7's in it with separate tweeters. Should I stick with that size or change to Titan II 6.5's?
I think the 6.5's would be better but not sure. If so then does Biketronics make an adapter ring that would go from the 5x7's to the 6.5's? And do I just reuse the tweeters I have?

Thanks all

more surface area with a 5x7, stick with the HATs front and rear if possible. should be a nice setup when you're done

Not to bust your bubble but a 6.5" has MORE surface area than a 5" x 7" and is also a more stable geometric shape for a speaker.

6.5" round = 33.183 sq in
5" x 7" = 27.4889 sq in

:icon_hunter::icon_pirate: <------ this is me being shot by the moderator.....lol

Sorry to cause an argument..:icon_hunter:..just kidding. Thanks for the info. I decided on Focal 165KRC's for the fairing and Focal 5x7's for the bags.
