Default 103 stage 5?

Hello all,

Currently riding my ultra with a stage 4 103-to-110 done by the dealership. The bike shook me up when I bought it but now I'm wanting a little more. I'm open to all options but I want to be sure before I commit. Could I please get some feedback from riders who have taken their 103 past a stage 4. I want to know what I'm getting myself into. Thanks in advance.

Got a dyno sheet?
What does the bike not do as well as you wish?
What is you expectation of grunt versus reliability?
Hard to know which way to send ya, if we don't know where you are.

It was dyno'd by previous owner after building. Dealership reported @110 and @115. I can't verify as of yet though personally. I was given those numbers after I bought the bike, so it wasn't to their advantage to fib.

The bike is a very good roller. Like most people I've talked to, the grunt doesn't kick in until @2-3k rpm. I'm basically looking for more tail off the line and if I can get it, for it to be a little quicker from stoplight to stoplight. I'm more of a distance rider but I do occasionally end up with some street bikes and some big ci choppers. It would be nice to dust them off a time or two with an "old man bike."

Maybe just switch cams/tuner? Here is a stage V kit, installed by the dealer, red is the HD cam (259E) w/Thundermax. Blue is the same bike with TTS150 cams instead of the 259s, and a retune by Paul at High Desert Performance, with the stock ECM and TTS. Better than 30 pounds of torque improvement @ 2750 RPM. Makes the bike quicker & smoother.

Check out Aerocharger. Your 110 with modest boost and a good tune will get you in the neighborhood of 170-190 TQ and 140- 160 HP. With full TQ from 2000 to 3000 RPM.
