I just bought a Sportster and it already had a turbo and a stage 3 power commander on it. I was wondering if there was no need for the air filter or what because I do not see one on it and the guy was selling it for his son so he knew nothing about it. If you could help that would be great. Thank you

 

yes and no, if you get a rock in there while you're riding, it will destroy the turbine and possibly destroy the motor also.

If all it will see is the drag strip then a metal screen will work or leave it open.

 

The picture you are showing is the Blow Off Valve, not the intake.
