No, Chris at Black Hills Harley is doing the install....He has done a few, and I wanted to get it done professionally. Will run on a Zippers T-Max autotuner with a 2 bar sensor to adjust for boost.

Well, last night after work, I went by and the bike is done, but a few bugs are being worked out. The base tune needs more adjustment and a few items in the T-Max like the 6th gear indicator needs to be sorted, etc. I was able to ride it in the parking lot, and almost laid her down, as the power came on so fast, I ran out of pavement!

Once I hit 2nd gear the back wheel finally got traction, and the boost came on, I wet from 40 MPH to well over 70 instantly. I think a spit second of time was lost as, 50..60, were skipped. it literally "jumped" from 40 to 70+. These turbo bikes, in lighter configurations are just plain dangerous.

So, in short Turbo bikes are spooky fast, and the acceleration is violent if you really hammer the throttle.

With the 255 cams it was very strong off idle at at 2000 RPM the boost comes up on....by 3000 RPM and higher, you are leaping forward! the lower gears and the cams = NO TURBO LAG.

The turbo baggers are fast...but the DYNA is so much lighter and lower geared, that really it's a true muscle bike.

And....this was on a crappy initial tune...so it will be even stronger by today when the final bugs should be fixed and she is back home.

anyway, just an update...need to get more pics...do a cleanup and post a short vid on YouTube.

You can hear the turbo when the bike is a distance away....pretty cool and exotic. I think I have a Harley version of a V-Max here.
