I'm a firm believer that the best way to see the Black Hills is when the Trailer Queens and Drama Queens aren't there.
Plenty of room, no gouging and I can still still have a good time...a better time actually.
Yep you hear good and bad stories but if I don't go next year I never will. I'm 68 now and want to try it before I get to be a 'geezer' ! Thanks for the advice though...b.
If you are truly into biking no mater what age, you need to at least go once to Sturgis. I have being there at lease 6 times and still hoping to go this year again. I am not much of a partyer but its a good time
Was there two years ago, pretty busy week. Think if I go again, will be week before and catch a couple days at the event, or last couple days at the event, and stay the week after. Lots of nice riding you don't want to miss. Camped at Shade Valley, was first class.

If you go down a little early you can always leave if it gets to busy to suit you. Thats what I did for the 75th but I stayed for the week last year. It's nice to see it both ways. You won't regret it
Nothing wrong with going it alone, I have made the trip a few times solo and with other riders. Going solo was a lot of fun stop when and where I wanted. Keep this thread alive by posting to it over the next few month there will be some more interest as we get closer to spring also on kijijij in the community section some times there are people posting there looking for people to ride with. I would like to to this year , but will not know until around june. I always ride across northern michigan and try to avoid the the interstate as much as I can, what is your plan for sturgis are you camping or hotel.
