Default Worst Start to the Riding Season

Here in Central Ontario, nothing but rain and cold. I've had just 4 rides so far this year. If a nice day does show up, I'm so far behind in my work around the house that I have to kill that day doing yard work.
How's everyone else's start (or non-start) to the season?

Have only been out 3 times here also. Weather has been the pits. When we do get a little bit of sunshine its windy and cold.
The wind has been brutal coming off Lake Huron lately with enormous waves crashing on the shoreline. I hear they are predicting a cooler and wetter summer this year.
Let's hope they are wrong!
Safe riding.
Cheers, Terry

Feeling the same in Wisconsin...could use some global warming bout now. Think I will go idle my SUV in the driveway to speed things up a bit. :-)

So far it's been a good start out here.By this time last year,I drove by at least four motorcycle accidents with a fatality in one of them, have yet to see one myself this year and hopefully don't ever again-be aware and be safe out there.

I hate to let you guys know it's too hot here in central Florida for me to ride anyway. Mid to upper 90's.

Our best riding weather is fall, winter, spring.

Hope you guys warm up a bit.

Ride safe!

Finally a beautiful day to ride yesterday! Sun shining and warmth for a nice change.
We started out 3 couples and then rode down the St. Clair Parkway to pick up the 4th couple. We then rode to Dukes Harley Davidson in Chatham for the 100th year in Canada celebration. Quite a few bikes there, but overall was a little disappointing. No vendors, no demo rides and they ran out of food by noon.
We all felt for Dukes, with the interchange (90) on the 401 closed for construction it makes in very difficult to access this dealership.
Then we went onto downtown Chatham for the Retro Car show. This was amazing the number of old cars on display. We had a bite too eat and then headed for home.
All in all was a great riding day! Looking forward to many more!
Cheers, Terry

Well......I've managed to get just over 2,500km riding so far this season. A lot of it has been done dressed in many layers, and dodging crappy weather. We have had record rainfall here this spring. Hope it improves soon. On my way to Indy & South Ohio in a couple of weeks. Part business, part pleasure. Riding no matter what!
